Original Sin: Part III of III
Actual Grace Prevents Eve's Eyes from Opening
Interaction of Biological Light
The majority of this section is a quote from the article: Woman: The holy spirit of the Family — Part II.
To understand why Eve’s eyes had not opened before Adam ate the apple, we must first understand and appreciate the singular (except Jesus and Mary) degree of one–flesh union that existed between Adam and Eve, on the one hand, Jesus and Mary on the other. In each case, the entire body of the one generated came from a single (probably) stem cell taken from the donor, i.e., Adam and Mary. Into that single cell, God breathed the Breath of Life. From this newly created substantial form (the rational soul), the body would be made and formed. The soul is the substantial form of the body.[1] An experiment detailed at the end of this blog will show the profound biophotonic impact of these facts.
Pope St. John Paul II describes the feminine genius of women as having “…that greatness of spirit of which only a mother’s heart is capable.”[1-A] The uniqueness of women is an integral component for understanding why and how women are created as the holy spirit of the family. The key to understanding the importance of the Genesis account of Eve’s creation is the rib, from which she was formed. More importantly, the fortunate rib was located in very close proximity to Adam’s beating heart. This fact goes far beyond mere symbolism. Science is now showing us just how far beyond symbolism it goes. Many believe the brain is the big kahuna of importance to the biological human person. It would seem that God thinks very differently. In the RSVCE translation of Scripture, the “brain” gets zero mentions, and the “mind” gets only 273 mentions. The word “heart,” on the other hand, is mentioned over 830 times. By way of comparison, the word “love” is mentioned roughly 700 times. It must be kept in mind that “love” and “heart” are inextricably linked together.
Paraphrasing Pope St. John Paul II: the body, and it alone is capable of transferring the Love of the spiritual and divine into physical creation, and it does so through the sense-able and meta-sense-able language of the body.[2] The heart must be essential to God. The human heart has been called the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit, from which rivers of living water flow, i.e., grace that purifies and sanctifies (Jn. 7:38-39; Jn. 4:13-14; Prov. 4:23; Ps. 105:41; Zech. 14:8; and Rev. 22:1).
Deut. 6:4 reads, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This wording helps us to understand the different powers within one single spiritual soul.[3] The heart represents our free will where we chose to love (not to be confused with chemically induced biological “love,” the presence or absence of holy desire for God. The soul represents the lower portion of the one spiritual soul. It directs all functions of the body — the scriptural mouth from which the heart overflows.[4][5] The mind represents the intellectual faculties of the one spiritual soul.[6] After all, one cannot love what one does not know. Thus one created in the image and likeness of God must possess reasoned intellect. Putting all three composite parts together, we can say: the mind feeds the desires of the heart through knowledge of Truth, which incites the higher powers of the soul, i.e., spirit, to cause the body (the mouth) to send Love into the visible/physical world in the language of the body, of which the heart of flesh is critically important.
In Light of Adam’s Heart and Eve’s Creation
Since we are talking about Adam and Eve’s “eyes opening” after their sin, let us use them to talk about electromagnetic radiation, i.e., created light and how it interacts with our dust and our biological water (our blood contains a large quantity of water). We are not just talking about our individual biology, but also that of those with whom we have a one–flesh relationship, more specifically, how the light generated by Adam’s heart produced profound biological effects on Eve.
Understanding the above is significant. The Holy Spirit is the ecstasy of God. The Holy Spirit dwells in the spirit of man, i.e., the higher powers of the spiritual soul. Because there are no dividing lines between the upper powers (aka, the spirit) and lower powers (aka, the soul) of the one spiritualized soul,[10] the Sanctifier’s indwelling[11] would necessarily cause both the spirit and the heart of flesh to be equally sanctified. After all, the soul is the substantial form of the body, including the heart of flesh. Based on a vision received from God, St. Hildegard of Bingen (a Doctor of the Church) writes about the heart, “The [biological] heart is the life and structure of our entire organism. It contains the whole body. Within it our thoughts are arranged and our will [a power of the spirit — SML] is brought to maturity.”[12] The significance of this quote will be become much clearer as we discuss the science of the heart. First, we will discuss the properties of light (electromagnetic radiation). Then we will talk about the heart itself.
Wherever there is an electrical current, there is, as a direct result, generated photons of light (EMR). The heart is the most powerful generator of electromagnetic energy in the human body.[13][14] This energy field not only envelops every cell in the human body, but the magnetic field extends outward several feet or more in all directions from the body.[15][16] The electromagnetic field produced by the heart is five–thousand times stronger than the brain’s field. Using a Magnetometer, the magnetic field of the heart can be detected at approximately three feet away. The brain’s magnetic field can only be detected up to about three inches away.[17][18]
According to biophysicist Werner R. Lowenstein, it is the transition of a real photon into a virtual photon that is the “bridge” between non-biological and biological organizations in the cosmos.[19] This electromagnetic force, i.e. light, governs the atomic actions within our body and the chemical bonding that produce them.[20] It is the information in these photons that go into the making of our DNA, our RNA, and all of the proteins produced by them.[21][22]
So, with every single beat of the heart, photons of light envelop every cell of the body. If you wish to view a video of the process through which the heart generates light, go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7Q9BrNfIpQ. What is impressive is that electromagnetic fields are an essential carrier of information.[23],[24][25] Light carries information critical to the self–organizing, or lack thereof, of living molecular systems trying to pull themselves up from disorder.[26] The electromagnetic field the heart generates can be coherent (ordered and uniform) or incoherent (disordered and erratic).[27] John Paul II believed biological coherence/harmony was a sure sign of purity of the human heart.[28] According to Dr. Fritz-Albert Popp, coherency means that an event occurring in one part of the organism immediately becomes an event for the entire organism. This coherency is due to the specific communicative properties of biologically generated light.[29]
Research strongly indicates that whichever of these two states is generated, the heart’s electromagnetic field will have a physiological impact on the entire body.[30] Requoting Pope St. John Paul II: “The body speaks not merely with the whole external expression of masculinity and femininity, but also with the internal structures of the organism, of the somatic [the entire body and its aggregate parts--SML] and psychosomatic [relating to the mind/mental--SML] reaction.”[31]
In effect, Scripture tells us God opened up Adam’s flesh (made an incision), took the rib, and then closed it up with flesh (Gen. 2:21). God is light unapproachable. He created material light to help us comprehend His Divine Light. Did God use a scalpel to open Adam’s flesh? What do doctors currently use to make an incision? Highly structured/coherent light is called a laser. What about closing the incision up with flesh? “Contrary to old and traditionally held beliefs, research is beginning to dispel the idea that hormones are the primary cause for the triggering of cell division (mitosis) in the growing embryo.[32][33] Triggering of the cell division required for wound healing is also to be considered. Research suggests that mitosis is triggered by signaling from electromagnetic energy in the UV spectrum and originating from within the cell itself. This signaling is termed mitogenic radiation (MGR).”[34][35] One might find it interesting to note that it requires photons traveling in the UV wavelength to provide the right amount of energy to break the hydrogen bonds existing in both the structured water surrounding the DNA molecule, as well as the DNA molecule itself.[36] Without the ability to break hydrogen bonds, cell mitosis could not occur.
One of the essential pieces of information relative to Eve’s creation in the image and likeness of Divine Charity is this: light is the carrier of information that organizes/builds biological life. By using a REAC device (Radio Electric Asymmetric Conveyor), Drs. Ventura and Gimzewski have been able to capture the magnetic and electromagnetic fields generated by a collection of the entire body's cells. They have found that the electromagnetic fields (such as the field generated by the beating heart) were able to cause non-differentiated stem cells to become differentiated cell types, such as heart muscle cells, nerve cells, skin cells, etc.[37] Furthermore, the cell's internal matrix is permeated by a sort of scaffolding made up of fibers. These fibers are continuously vibrating at specific frequencies, frequencies that change in response to environmental factors. They have been investigating whether or not the vibrations recorded from a beating heart affect the differentiation of stem cells exposed to that sound (recall Adam’s rib). Initial results are indicating their hypothesis is correct.[38]
The Science of the Heart
There is a reason that Scripture refers to the heart much more than the mind. It has been the belief that the brain almost wholly controlled the heart’s actions. We now know this is not correct.
The vagus nerve connects the brain to the heart (it extends to several other parts of the body, as well).[39] Of the approximately 200,000 fibers in the mid-cervical section of the right and left vagus nerve,[40] approximately ninety percent (180,000) are afferent (ascending the body), i.e. send information to the brain [emphasis SML]; approximately ten percent (20,000) are efferent (descending the body), i.e. receiving information from the brain. No other part of the body has that high a ratio of afferent to efferent nerve fibers.[41][42]
The heart of a woman differs from that of a man. The coherence/order of the electrical signals (light) traveling from the heart to the brain would vary according to the coherence/order of the electromagnetic field the heart generates. Another destination of the vagus nerve is the voice box (the larynx).[43] It would seem logical that the quality of the signaling would also affect the voice. Possible evidence is that a man processes a female’s voice in the area of the brain that processes music. The female voice is much more melodic and complex than the male voice.[44] By comparison, men register another man’s voice in the brain's region that processes visual information.[45]
The heart produces the hormones norepinephrine (a stress hormone), dopamine (a reward hormone associated with addictions), epinephrine,[47] and oxytocin. Oxytocin is the hormone involved with creating enduring pair bonding, biological love, childbirth, complex sexual/maternal behaviors, and lactation, just to name a few.[48] Another recent discovery is that the levels of oxytocin produced by the heart are about the same as is produced in the brain.[49] We begin to see why the heart is associated with the ecstasy of love and the painful heartbreak that occurs when our love is not reciprocated. We can start to see more clearly why the biological heart is the part of the scriptural mouth through which is expressed either True Love (when the Spirit dwells in the inner heart) or biological love (when the flesh/chemicals are responding to sensual input that lead to desire).[50]
The heart communicates with the entire body (and beyond) through four means. They are: 1) neurologically (nervous system); 2) biochemically (hormones); 3) energetically (electromagnetic energy); and, 4) biophysically (pulse waves generated by a beating heart).[51] In a mystical vision of the Last Supper, St. John the Evangelist talked about the profound effect Jesus’ pulsating physical heart had on him when he rested his head on Jesus’ chest. Read the following endnote for more information.[52]
Researchers at the Institute of HeartMath have made some fascinating discoveries concerning the physical heart. Coupling their research with the results of research conducted by Drs. J. Andrew Armour and Jeffrey Ardell,[53] it has been learned that the heart possesses its own complex brain (used as a simile, for lack of a better word). It has a network of neurons, proteins, neurotransmitters, and other components necessary for it to function as such. It is self–organizing and processes information independently of the cranial brain. Detecting the presence of hormones and other neurochemicals in the circulating bloodstream, the heart transmits this information to the cranial brain causing [emphasis mine] appropriate functional changes to its activities.[54] The cranial brain is the part of the scriptural mouth/body through which the higher powers of the spiritual soul, i.e., free will, the intellect, and understanding/wisdom are expressed.
Let’s tie this together a bit. The woman was taken out of man … more precisely, the stem cell(s) of man that would grow [cf. Emmerich, The Life of Jesus Christ and Biblical Revelations, Vol 1 of 4, pp. 6-8][55] into the woman, Eve. The stem cells were bathed in electromagnetic radiation generated by a heart in ecstasy due to the Holy Spirit's special indwelling. The Holy Spirit is Divine Light and Divine Charity. This creation event occurred before the Fall. Consequently, Adam was already in a state of perfect goodness and order,[56] even before his ecstasy (sleep). The donor stem cell(s) taken from Adam’s rib, when exposed to light from a heart in which the Holy Spirit dwells, began the process of cellular mitosis and differentiation. From this point onward, I do not know the extent of the role Adam's heart played, if any, in the continuing development of Eve's body. Regardless, during this process, each new stem cell became one of the types of cells needed to form a fully ordered and functioning human being. I don’t know the particulars (I doubt anybody could). Still, I believe that direct or indirect exposure to the Divine Light of the perfect Holy Spirit would result in the woman’s creation as an imitation of the appropriations[57] of the Holy Spirit. See note for thoughts on the rib story from scientists. [58]
As we have previously shown, In most instances, the heart is informing the brain how to act. It is logical to conclude that a woman, created from stem cells radically exposed to a perfectly coherent beating heart (pulse wave is one of the means through which the heart communicates with the body), would be built to think and act very differently than a man not created in a similar manner.
Was Light Generated from Adam’s Body Present in the Garden?
It is an indisputable scientific fact that our bodies generate light in multiple wavelengths. Much of it is in the invisible to ultraweak wavelength range. That is true for both post– and pre–fallen man. However, would the same radiation intensity level (or lack thereof) exist for man in the state of original justice versus the fallen state? Let us see what the mystics have to say about this.
1. “When God created Adam, divine radiance surrounded the clay substance [i.e., DNA combined with bio-living water — SML] of which he was formed.”[59]2. “Before Adam and Eve had transgressed against the divine commandment, they had been shining with splendor like the sun and that light formed their clothing. After the transgression against the divine commandment they were no longer shining like they had been before. ... It [creation] too lost its equilibrium and fell into unrest.”[60]3. “Although his person [Adam] was more like to flesh than to spirit, yet he was dazzlingly white [Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich, The Life of Jesus Christ and Biblical Revelations, as recorded in the Journals of Clemens Brentano, arranged and edited by Carl E Schmoger CSSR, Vol 1 of 4, pp. 6-8].”[61]4. “[Adam and Eve] were like two unspeakably noble and beautiful children, perfectly luminous, and clothed with beams of light as with a veil. From Adam’s mouth I saw issuing a broad stream of glittering light, and upon his forehead an expression of great majesty. Around his mouth played a sunbeam, but there was none around Eve’s. I saw Adam’s heart very much the same as in the men of the present day, but his breast was surrounded by rays of light [emphasis SML]. In the middle of his heart, I saw a sparkling halo of glory. In it was a tiny figure as if holding something in its hand. I think it symbolized the Third Person [the Holy Spirit] of the Godhead [Ibid, vol. 1, pp. 6-8].”[62]
The human body generates and emits electromagnetic fields in a range of frequencies, including microwave and optical[63] (although too weak to be seen by the naked eye). German physicist Fritz–Albert Popp discovered that the ultra–weak light emitted from the living organism is so coherent in the UV to red electromagnetic wave spectrum, the human being behaves as if it were a laser, but with a few significant differences. They are:
1) The radiation intensity from the living organism is several orders of magnitude weaker than a laser;
2) The degree of coherence of the radiation in the living organism is many orders higher than a technical laser; and
3) The living organism's radiation is coherent over a range of wavelengths (polychromatic), while a laser is coherent in only one wavelength (monochromatic).[64]
What is the meaning and significance of a Hertzian versus non–Hertzian behavior of photons? Said behavior is known to scientists as the wave–particle duality.[68] Albert Einstein demonstrated this phenomenon (known as the photoelectric effect) in 1905, for which he later received a Nobel Prize. Briefly stated, photons have been shown to travel either as: a sine–wave (Hertzian — picture a roller coaster); a particle (non–Hertzian — think of a bullet fired from a gun); or both.[69] Hertzian photons can split in two; non–Hertzian photons (i.e., traveling as particles) are not.[70] Hertzian photons are limited to the speed of light and are described as local. Non–Hertzian photons travel faster than the speed of light. This phenomenon is described as non–local.[71] Non–locality was mathematically proven by John Bell (Bell’s theorem) in 1964. It was experimentally confirmed by John Clauser from Columbia University in 1972 and Alain Aspect from the University of Paris in 1982.[72] More up–to–date information on this science can be found in The Basic Physics of Quantum Theory, by Basil S Davis.[73]
If it were true that energy radiating from the heart can function non-locally (research suggests it is), the implications would be significant! It has been scientifically proven that man’s consciousness or observation will affect all matter capable of a wave/particle duality, e.g., electrons, protons, photons, atoms, etc. For example, a photon will travel as a wave while it is not observed, but it will collapse into a particle while observed. Research performed at the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) put this to the test using beryllium ions. When beryllium ions are radiated with radio waves, the electrons of its atoms will jump to a higher orbit and emit photons when they drop into a lower energy orbit. However, when NIST experimenters observed the process, the electrons ceased to change orbit. The photon had collapsed into the particle state as a result of being observed (John Gribbin, Schrodinger’s Kitten’s and the Search for Reality, New York: Back Bay Books, 1995, pp. 133-135).[74][75] When mathematician John von Neumann examined every step of the process, he determined it was only human consciousness that could cause the collapse of the wave function of the beryllium atoms/electrons [Nick Herbert, Quantum Reality, New York: Anchor Books, 1985, p. 148].[76]
The Science of Bio–Living Water
We have talked a lot about the science of the heart. Without knowing more about the subject that inextricably links water to the Holy Spirit in Scripture, we will fail to come to a proper understanding of why Eve’s eyes were not opened until after Adam ate the forbidden fruit. According to biologist Vladimir Voeikov, there are increasing amounts of scientific evidence indicating that biological structured water, working together with the solid surfaces of, and within, the cell (e.g., proteins, DNA, and cell membranes), determine the organization of living organisms at all levels.[77] What flows through the heart? Blood. What flows throughout our entire body? Blood. How much of blood is composed of water? Slightly less than 80%. That is a lot of water. What does blood carry within its walls? Oxygen.
In Leviticus we read, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it for you upon the altar to make atonement for your spiritual souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement, by reason of the life” (Lev 17:11). The Hebrew word for “life” is nephesh (נֶ֣פֶשׁ). As a noun, it is a feminine singular construct. It is translated as; “A soul, living being, life, self, person, desire, passion, appetite, emotion” (Strong's Hebrew #5315). In the writings of two Doctors of the Church, St. Hildegard of Bingen and St. Catherine of Siena, God always refers to the entire person in their proper gender. However, when the spiritual soul is referred to, it is always in the feminine context. Even when the particular person God is speaking about is a male, God still refers to the soul in the feminine (e.g., she). The spiritual soul is the created light in which the Divine Light dwells. Let us talk a little bit about blood, water, and light.
In the books of Exodus, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, and Joshua there are mentions of bodies of water being divided by the power of the Holy Spirit. I have tossed around in my mind some questions regarding this mystery. Could this mystery be linked to the “splitting” or “dividing” of the H2O water molecule in the human organism? When the water molecule is split, you have two hydrogen ions and one oxygen ion? Hydrogen is the same element comprising the vast majority of the sun, which is an element essential to life. Oxygen is essential for metabolism; it is also essential to the existence of all life. The fusion of two hydrogen atoms starts the chain reaction that leads to the radiant light (electromagnetic energy) and heat that reaches our planet from the sun.[78] This “splitting” of the water molecule occurs naturally in plants through photosynthesis. It is this process that is the source of all oxygen on earth (see endnote for Journal Source).[79] The splitting of the water molecule in the living organism is critical to the function of every cell in our body.[80] Absent that water–splitting process, we would die very quickly.
The share of oxygen in the blood stream that contributes to this water splitting process is very high. According to recent research, white blood cells (both neutrophils and eosinophils) are actively respiring (combusting) and convert all of the oxygen they consume into light. Consequently, blood is a major producer of photons in the ultra–weak range.[81] Being in the ultra–weak range, these photons are unable to be seen by the naked human eye (even when the frequency is in the visible range). We should not make the mistake of believing this EMR is too weak to affect the function of the body. Life is expression, and Jesus tells us to let our light radiate outward (Mt 5:14-15). This is extremely significant in relation to the topic of this blog series. Jesus is the light of the world, both materially (EMR) and spiritually.
The Journal of the American Chemical Society, show that structured bio–living water (a term I coined) coats the entire surface of DNA in every cell within the human body. This is the first time we are discussing the presence of bound and vicinal water on the surface of DNA itself, and the functional consequences thereof. Using Infrared Spectroscopy, research has shown the number of layers of structuring of the water molecules coating the DNA molecule was proportionate to the strength of the hydrogen bonds (remember that water has two nuclei of hydrogen, i.e. protons) between the DNA surface and the water molecule.[82] Why is this functionally important? The hydration shell of DNA can assume the function of a genetic on–off switch. Dr. Karim Fahmy, Head of the Biophysics Division at the Institute of Radiochemistry, says increasing the thickness of this hydration shell by as little as two water molecules can cause the DNA to fold instantly.[83] So what is the significance of the “folding” of the DNA molecule (note that DNA folding is not the same as protein folding)? In order for a gene to produce (aka, express) a protein (which is the function of genes) the section of DNA containing that gene must unfold; no DNA unfolding ==> no protein (including hormones) ==> no functional cellular response.
What does this tell us about Adam, Eve, and the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil? In the Bible, water is always used to symbolize cleansing, purification, and life. In this blog, we have describe all the components necessary for the body to express the Actual graces[84] necessary to keep the consequences of concupiscence from opening the eyes of Eve. These components exist synergistically in the heart and the blood. We have the electromagnetic energy produced by the heart, the light (via water burning) produced by the hydrogen splitting of the water molecules in combination with the oxygen (the breath of life) contained in the blood, and the blood, which carries it throughout the body — and beyond.
Summary:
Why Eve’s Eyes Were Not Opened Before Adam’s Fall
Does the quantum property of biologically generated light affect our DNA function in the environment surrounding us, separate from our personal body? The following experiment may help to answer that question. The military performed it. Before proceeding with our discussion of this research, a cautionary note is warranted. I could not locate a copy of this study. The only reference I have found is in Gregg Braden’s book, The Isaiah Effect – Decoding the Lost Science of Prayer and Prophecy. Consequently, the results of this experiment should be considered with an appropriate level of prudential judgment.
The process is much the same as occurs during a lie detector test, which monitors and records a subject’s electrical shift in response to vocal input. Remember, electrons in motion, i.e., electricity, produce light (EMR). Therefore, if the measured electrical response changed due to the influence of the videos to which the subject was exposed, so too would the electromagnetic field surrounding a beating heart. Researchers found that both the donor and the DNA specimen registered the exact same electrical changes at the same time. They found no lag time between the donor's electrical responses and the electrical reactions of the DNA specimen.
Researchers then gradually increased the distance between the subject and his/her DNA specimen. At fifty miles of space between the two, the electrical changes remained identical, with no lag time between the change in the donor and the change in the specimen. This experiment would undoubtedly be an indication of non–local electromagnetic behavior.[86]
Throughout this blog post, we have discussed why Eve’s eyes were not opened until after Adam had also eaten the forbidden fruit. Adam and Eve were, literally, one-flesh. Her entire body was formed from his DNA. The light from Adam’s heart, which was still in the state of original justice (unfallen) and within which dwelled the infinite Light of the Third Person of the Trinity, would not allow the function of her body to become disordered. Remember, the spiritual soul is the substantial form of the body. How powerful was this water/light partnership? It was so powerful that creation did not lose its equilibrium until after both had sinned.[87]
This blog series dedicated to revealing the reason(s) why Eve’s eyes were not opened until after Adam had also sinned. I submit that it is appropriate to believe this delay in eye–opening was because of the Living Water that flowed from an inner heart in which the Holy Spirit dwelled. To obtain a deeper understanding of the symbolism of living water in Scripture, see my blog on the Dead Sea.
The following points provide a summary of points that help show the hypothesis to be true.
1. When the energy of electromagnetic radiation generated from person A’s body and soul comes into contact with the structured biological water of person B, the interaction will, under the right circumstances, produce functional and/or qualitative changes in the body and soul of person B. Keep in mind what God told St. Catherine. There is no act of charity or evil that does not affect all of our neighbors. Our ensouled body is, in effect, a transmission tower broadcasting the consequences of our heart and the works that overflow from it.2. In Part I of this blog series, St. Galgani said she experienced a great burning in her heart due to the Holy Spirit dwelling therein. While this caused her pain, she did not desire the excruciating pain to stop. This because of the sweetness it produced [just as was the case with St. John the Evangelist at the Last Supper and St. Gertrude — SML] in the very depths of her soul.[88] Since St. Padre Pio and others experienced similar burning pains, we can assume the miraculous physical changes occurring in the hearts were not a direct manifestation of the Divine Love (Glory) of the Holy Spirit. Instead, they were consequences of the Holy Spirit’s presence within the spirit (aka, spiritual heart), which compelled the soul to produce the body’s necessary changes. As the heart is purified, so too must the body be purified. Otherwise, the language of the body would not accurately express the overflow of the spirit.3. In Part I of this blog series, we learned that Jesus’ pulsating heart had a profound impact on the spirit and soul of St. John the Evangelist at the Last Supper. As we discussed earlier, the beating human heart's pulse waves are one of four ways the heart communicates with the entire body — and beyond. Pre-fallen Adam was just as ordered and coherent as Jesus’ human heart at the Last Supper. After all, Jesus was the prototype of all man while in the state of Original Justice. Jesus’ human heart (not yet glorified) produced a profound impact on St. John’s spirit and soul. The upper powers of the soul, i.e., the spirit, are inseparable from the lower powers of the soul that direct all of the human body's functions and actions. If one’s spirit is affected — the body is inescapably affected in such a way that both the body and soul advance or retreat equally in their journey to perfection. Under the right conditions, the impact mentioned earlier can produce a similar change on those we love.[89] Covenant theology, which we will not discuss here, can shed much light on this topic phenomenon. You can read my five–part blog on Covenant Theology starting here.
4. To understand why Eve’s eyes were not opened until after Adam sinned, we must first understand and appreciate the singular (except Jesus and Mary) degree of one flesh union that existed between Adam and Eve, on the one hand, Jesus and Mary on the other. In each case, the entire body of the one generated came from a single (probably) stem cell of a donor, i.e., Adam and Mary. From that single cell, the rational soul, the Breath of Life, breathed into the nostrils of each, would have formed the body. This, because the soul is the substantial form of the body.5. In Scripture, we read, “[Jesus] was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his garments became white as light” (Mt 17:2). Notice, the light of Jesus’ body during his Transfiguration caused his garments to become white as light. In those days, all garments were made from materials containing DNA. We know the Holy Spirit dwelled in the human soul of Jesus, as the Third Person of the Trinity did in Adam before the fall. The radiating light from Jesus’ luminescence caused a change in the function of the DNA of something in close proximity to him, yet not a part of his body. His clothing's DNA had no justifiable claim, in and of itself, to be in a glorified state. Thus, it is logical to assume that the light generated by the Holy Spirit dwelling in Adam's soul and mediated through his body (before the Fall) would have impacted Eve.6. Drs. Robert Becker and Andrew Marino detail the results of more than a hundred research studies that demonstrate a profound impact on virtually every aspect of the functioning human body. Their exposition of the literature is detailed in Electromagnetism & Life (Belcher, LA: Cassandra Publishing, 2010). On an ever–increasing basis, it has become clear that electrical and magnetic forces have specific effects on living organisms (ibid., xii). The current understanding of the solid–state approach to biology helps us understand that the properties of the crystalline structure of DNA include semiconductivity, photoconductivity, and piezoelectricity.Consequently, exposure of the organism to electromagnetic energy (light) would produce large scale alterations in the functions controlled by said solid–state crystalline systems, i.e., DNA (ibid., xiii). According to the authors, organisms that receive information about their environment in the form of natural electromagnetic signals will likely experience both physiological and behavioral changes. Relative to our conversation about Adam and Eve, the previous sentence's keyword is natural EMR. As God created and described as good, physical creation has a natural electromagnetic background generated by the earth and cosmic sources. This electromagnetic background was of the frequencies and magnitudes that were both compatible and beneficial to living organisms.Just as man in the state of Original Justice was formed ordered, so was the cosmos. After the fall, that order did not exist in its original perfection (cf. Rom 8:22).[90] “After the transgression against the divine commandment they were no longer shining like they had been before. ... It [creation] too lost its equilibrium and fell into unrest. [Helmut Posch, Das wahre Weltbild nach Hildegard von Bingen (The Creation of the World According to Hildegard of Bingen) trans Gina O’Brien for the Kolbe Center for the Study of Creation, p. 40/55]”[91] In fallen creation, especially in more recent times, our environment has become polluted with artificial/mechanical produced electromagnetic energies. This background radiation is disordered in relation to the natural frequencies, wavelengths, and magnitudes existing in Adam and Eve while in the state of Original Justice. Pre–fall Adam’s perfectly ordered heart would have generated and bathed fallen Eve’s body with that perfectly ordered light. It was thus preventing her eyes from opening.7. We have describe all the components necessary for the body to express the Actual graces necessary to keep the consequences of concupiscence from opening the eyes of Eve. These components exist synergistically in the heart and the blood.

[52] St. Gertrude the Great was granted a mystical encounter with St. John the Evangelist, the beloved Apostle who was given the singular honor of resting his head on the bosom/heart of Jesus during the Last Supper. In the Spirit, St. John took her to Jesus so that she, too, could lay her head on the bosom of Jesus. Then, as she felt the constant pulsations (the spiritual heart does not pulsate) of the Divine Heart, and rejoiced exceedingly [*] thereat, she said to St. John: “Beloved of God, didst not thou feel those pulsations when thou wert lying on the Lord’s breast at the Last Supper?” “Yes,” he replied; “and this with such plenitude, that liquid does not enter more rapidly into bread than the sweetness of those pleasures penetrated my soul [clearly indicating Jesus’ physical – pre-crucified – heart (at the Last Supper, in St. John’s case) and resurrected glorified heart (in St. Gertrude’s case) — SML], so that my spirit [i.e., his spiritual heart] became more ardent than water under the action of a glowing fire [St. Gertrude the Great, Life and Revelations of St. Gertrude the Great, TAN Books, Kindle Edition, pp. 303-304.].”

[55] Emmerich wrote this about Eve’s creation: “Then from his right side, from the same place in which the side of Jesus was opened by the lance, God drew Eve. I saw her small and delicate. But she quickly increased in size until full-grown [emphasis SML]. She was exquisitely beautiful.” Hugh Owen, “Adam and Eve in the Writings of the Mystical Saints and Doctors of the Church,” The Kolbe Center for the Study of Creation, https://kolbecenter.org/adam-and-eve-writings-mystical-saints-doctors-church/#_ftnref30, accessed August 17, 2020.
[56] If our fallen state is described as disordered, then our pre-fallen state would necessarily be described as ordered. Scripture tells us, “But thou hast arranged all things by measure and number and weight” (Wisdom 11:20).
[57] “A manner of speaking in which the properties and activities of God, though common to the three divine persons, are attributed to an individual person. The purpose of appropriation is to manifest the differences in the divine properties and persons. Four kinds of appropriations are known from Scripture and sacred tradition: 1. substantive names of God (Theos), applied to the Father, and of Lord (Kurios), applied to the Son; 2. absolute attributes of God, namely power, unity, and eternity applied to the Father; wisdom, equality, and beauty applied to the Son; goodness, harmony, and happiness applied to the Holy Spirit; 3. works of God, namely efficient cause (Father), exemplary cause (Son), and final cause (Holy Spirit); 4. worship of God, with the Father as recipient of adoration and sacrifice, and the Son and Holy Spirit as mediators between God and man.”

[58] “In the first book of the Bible, God fashions a woman from one of Adam's ribs: “while Adam was sleeping, … [he] took one of the ribs… and the rib taken from man… made a woman” (Genesis 2:21–22). Were stem cells present at this ancient origin point, in Adam's rib? The recent discovery of stem cells in bone marrow and their therapeutic application in stem cells regenerative medicine would support the hypothesis that the development of science represents a quite predictable phenomenon proceeding from the potency of Adam's rib.... The recent discovery (or rediscovery) of stem cells in bone marrow and their application in regenerative medicine would seem to support the hypothesis that the development of science could be predicted from the story of Adam's rib. Surprisingly, the progress of science, in turn, may lead us to look again into the narrative of our evolutionary ancestry.”

[84] While Actual grace is distinct from Sanctifying grace (as discussed above), it is important to note that Actual Grace is also sanctifying (small ‘s’). To clarify the distinction between the two, recall that Sanctifying grace is a direct communication between God and the soul through which that soul is deified. On the other hand, small ‘s’ sanctifying grace is God’s communication to the soul through many other means, e.g. preacher, art, music, geographical landscape, etc. Thus we can appreciate a saying used by many of the saints when they exclaimed, “Blessed be the God of all things for sanctifying His elect through one another.” There are numerous modes through which this sanctification can occur. The most noticeable modes of sanctification are the following: 1) purification of the heart and body; 2) illumination of the intellect; and, 3) union with God. Let us now turn to the two main sub-types of Actual grace: internal and external. http://www.therealpresence.org/archives/Grace/Grace_013.htm.
